Drummer / Percussionist Producer / Educator
Based in London, UK. James is a drummer and percussionist and studied at Chetham’s School of Music and Royal College of Music. He was a Douglas and Hilda Simmons Scholar and was also awarded the Joy Hockings prize for percussion. As a performer James has played at several venues across the UK including; Royal Festival Hall, Bridgewater Hall, Barbican Hall and many others.
As well as performing James also produces his own music and currently has an originals project titles “SHEKHE’ in which he performs live electronics/triggers and dub style FX.
He has also worked as a transcriber/engraver on several major films.
